Kissing Bridge Kennel is a small, family run kennel located on the lovely Kingston Peninsula outside Saint John, NB. Your pets will get lots of personal attention.
|
For your pets comfort, our facility is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer. Our boarders have large indoor runs and are provided with a bed and blanket if needed, premium quality food and natural spring water.
Cuddles and cookies too!
You may bring your own beds, toys and food if you like.

Our large outdoor runs are covered to protect your pets from bad weather and sun.
|
|
Dogs are let out into our large grassy play yard daily -weather permitting.

Grooming
We offer a full professional grooming service. Barb has been grooming dogs for over 20 years. She has won numerous competitions, and has even judged the Toronto Sportsman's Show!
She can groom any way you want, plain or fancy. You must make an appointment. Our fee's are very reasonable.

Grooming includes:
- Clip or brush out & trim.
- Nails
- Ears cleaned and plucked if needed
- Glands expressed
- Bath & blow dry
- Scarf or bow

There is no extra charge for Flea and Medicated baths as they are applied as needed.
You can have a nail trimming only for just $10.00
We also do de-skunking baths!

Boarding Rates
Dogs: $12.00 per-day
Cats: $8.00 per-day
Daycare (8hr max.): $10.00
The fee starts the day your pet is dropped off regardless of the time. If you pick-up before 12 noon the day of departure there is no charge for that day.
Reservations
Be sure to make reservations early during busy times, these are March Break - July to August and all long weekends.
Cats
We have a separate room for cats with large cages. This helps to reduce stress.
Vaccinations
All pets vaccinations must be up to date. We recommend getting a Kennel Cough vaccine 2 weeks before boarding but do not insist on it. It is between you and your vet.

Regular hours are:
8 - 10 am and 4 -6 pm daily.
But as we are a family business sometimes things come up, so please try to schedule pick up and drop offs. We are often here during the off hours and can usually accommodate from 8am - 8pm.
Holidays
We are closed all the following holidays:
- Christmas Day
- Easter Sunday
- Thanksgiving Day
- Canada Day
and others as posted.

Payment
If your pet is staying 2 weeks or more you may prepay by cheque, otherwise we only accept cash. This is due to a few NSF cheques we have received in the past.
At present we do not have debit nor credit card machines.
If a pet is not claimed within 5 days of the return date, we may dispose of the animal at our discretion.

Directions: All times are from Peninsula side of ferries.
From Westfield (about 10 min.):
- Take Westfield ferry across river
- Drive up hill, turn right on Route 845,towards Quispamsis.
- We are 9 km. from that turn.
- Just before Milkish Creek covered bridge.
- We are on your left, look for sign.

From Saint John (about 5 min.):
- Take Millidgeville Ferry (Peninsula Princess) across river.
- Drive up hill to end of the road and turn right.
- Drive about 1 km. to Route 845 paved road turn left.
- Drive through covered bridge.
- We are second house on your right, look for sign.

From Quispamsis (about 20 min.):
- Take Gondola Point ferry across river.
- Turn left onto Route 845.
- Drive about 15min. to Pipertown Road on your right. Turn right.
- Go to end of the Pipertown Rd and turn right again, back onto Route 845.
- Go through Covered Bridge.
- We are the second house on your right, look for sign.
